Eduardo Piquero is general manager of MÉXICO2, Mexico´s first carbon trading platform, nested at the Mexican Stock Exchange. MÉXICO2 helps Mexican companies to adapt to new carbon regulation and contributing to the national efforts to fight climate change. More than ten companies already offset their emissions through MÉXICO2, representing the cornerstone of the Mexican voluntary carbon market.

Before joining MÉXICO2, Eduardo was a mitigation consultant to the United Nations Environment Program and an expert in carbon markets.
